Running is not always about keeping one steady pace. It is about learning how to control your body, breathing, and mindset through every change in speed.
On Thursday, July 9, Seuxphen Running Team and Fearlessness Running Club hosted a Fartlek Running session at Thephasadin Stadium from 6.00 PM to 8.00 PM. The session was designed to help participants train with varied running speeds, moving between slower paces, faster efforts, and recovery along the way.
The session began at 6.00 PM with a meeting point gathering, allowing everyone to prepare before the run. At 6.15 PM, participants moved into the Warm Up session to activate the body, improve mobility, and get the muscles ready for running.
At 6.30 PM, the Fartlek Running Session began. Fartlek is a running style that combines different speed levels within one session. It helps runners develop endurance, pace control, acceleration, and recovery while running. This format is ideal for building stronger and more consistent running performance.
After the run ended at 7.30 PM, everyone moved into the Cool Down session to gradually slow down, reset their breathing, and release muscle tension after training. The activity ended at 8.00 PM with shared energy, effort, and determination from everyone who pushed through the session together.
This activity was not only about running for time. It was about training the body and mind to respond to every moment of fatigue. Sometimes, what makes us stronger is not just running faster, but continuing to move when the body starts to challenge us.
